My dad told me years ago, “if what you’re doing is worth knowing, people will know about it.”

I was bragging about a homerun I hit in a baseball game and he stopped me and told me I didn’t have to tell people, they should already know. That truth still shapes how I work today.

People ask sometimes how beremedy landed CNN and TED and other great opportunities  Every single one of those opportunities  reached out to me. The offers always came when I had my head down working hard on a vision.

If you do one great thing and you spend your time telling people about it, you’re wasting time that could be moving your idea further. 

So the next time you do something great, continue in that great work.
Continue to make it better.
Begin working on the next great thing.
As you do, people will find out about it.
And they will tell other people.

We should be doing work that’s so great, others should be beating our door down to tell our story!
